State Representative 2nd Bristol District

My name is George T. Ross and I am running for State Representative!

I have been an Attleboro resident for over 32 years.  Upon moving to Attleboro, I opened Murray’s
Restaurant and became a small business owner. As a small business owner, I came into contact with many
Attleboro residents, other business owners, local government officials, and organizations. I always believed
in giving back to the community and supported many local non profits and charities. I have sponsored
Attleboro youth Baseball Teams, worked with our local 4-H, volunteered with local community services,
supported Attleboro's Energy Fund and the Soup for Heat events, and volunteered with Christmas is For
Kids.

I served in the Army during the Vietnam era and I am a proud member of the American Legion Post 312. I
also support the Elks organization through membership as an Elk; the Elks is one of Attleboro most
charitable organizations. Giving back to the community and supporting our veterans!

As a proud Attleboro resident and small business owner, I also became active in local government. I am
proud to say that I served Attleboro on many volunteer boards and in various capacities.

  •  I have been elected as a Ward 2 Councilor for 7 Terms!
  •  Police Commissioner
  •  Housing Commissioner
  •  Human Rights Board Member
  •  Planning Board Member

I have been able to serve the residents of Attleboro because of the support of my family. Many may know
my dear wife Jeanne, of over 40 years,  whom also volunteers on behalf of many non profits and local
organizations (always lending a helping hand). Jeanne and I also have a lovely daughter, Nicole, who is
married to Capt. Joshua Johnson of the United States Army. Our little bundle of joy is our  grandson,
Joseph. We are a supportive family of each other and the United States of America!
